I was wondering what would be a good product to use on oxidatized vinyl siding. I have color X and 66, but do I need one of the boat products like 44 color restore?

You want to use a cleaner/wax for sure, so ColorX or M66 would both be good choices.
Please be careful however, if my memory from experience from working on these surface is correct, this single stage paint on these sidings is very thin, so if you rut to hard or to long on any high points, you'll go right through it. For this reason, avoid using a machine to apply and if you do, use our W-9006 finishing pad at a slow speed, like 2.0 to 3.0.
If this is dimple textured, then you'll need a very fluffy microfiber or cotton towel to get into all the dimples to remove the dried wax.
I've waxed a number of things like this, I'm not sure if I've ever actually waxed a house, but the coating technology was/is similar.
If you do wax your house, please take some before and after photos and I'm sure this would make for an interesting article on our forum.

I tried colorx on a small piece of the house the siding is light blue. And the color came back with extra gloss as well.As for pics that would have to wait since it's been raining for a couple of days.I could use a primer on how to uplink pics.

Is the vinyl siding smooth/flat or dimpled with craters and high points?

The corners are flat but the siding in the middle is like sim wood.

My parents have aluminum siding and my mother has been complaining about it being faded and dull.
Okay, so it might be faded. But I'll bet it's also oxidized. This thread gives me an idea.
Since the siding is painted metal, could it be cleaned and waxed? And if so...what to use.
So....clean it by hand (man..that is a LOT of work) and use ColorX. Might be interesting to try a spot and see how it works.
And I might add....why don't they put clear coat on siding too? Then again, I guess if they painted it like a car it would be really expensive.
