Hi laff488,
That's a very nice looking Miata. Just by coincidence, I just sent out an e-mail to the SoCalm Miata club about setting up a Detailing Day for Miata owners here at Meguiar's.
Have you had a chance to use the new NXT Tech Wax?

Hi laff488,
To check on the status of your sponsorship, you should contact Meguiar’s at,
Sponsorship@meguiars.com
They can give you more information. Sorry to hear you were broke into. If you get a chance, try the new NXT Tech Wax on your Mazda’s finish. It leaves a very clear, high gloss finish and is the perfect wax for show cars or any car that is displayed under bright lights.
Thanks for joining the Meguiar’s Online Forums!

Hi VIPER BAZ UK
Welcome to Meguiar's Online Discussion Forum!
Nice Viper, I took the liberty of resizing your photo to 700 pixels wide using this free and very cool software program, Easy Thumbnails (http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/index.php?2.53)
I then uploaded and inserted below for everyone's viewing enjoyment!

Here are a couple of pics of recent details of my 2001 Mustang GT.
I usually prep with my Meguiars dual action polisher using Meguiars #9 swirl mark remover for routine swirl removal and #83 DACP for trouble spots.

Bob...
While both pictures look great, that first picture is simply awesome! Your paint not only looks perfect, it looks wet!
http://archive.meguiarsonline.com/gallery/data/500/92760bigfront726.jpg
#7 and #26 are great products, especially for the results they produce at a cost of less than $20.00!
Nice work, and thanks for showing people what can be done with #7 Show Car Glaze, (a product that has been around for approximately 70+ years), and #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax. #26 is a true show car wax and a product that has been around from [I think] sometime in the 1980's.
Interestingly enough, many people consider #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax to be a Carnauba Wax, when actually it's a blended wax. Carnauba is only one ingredient in the formula. #26 also contains Polymers, Silicones, and Resins, (I have no idea what resins are in the context of a wax formula).
By combining multiple ingredients, you get the benefits and features from multiple ingredient. Products based upon a single ingredient, for example Carnauba, can only give you the benefits and features from this single ingredient.
Just thought I would throw that out there....

Mike,
I have tried a lot of products from many manufacturers and settled on #7/#26 quite some time ago as my combo of choice. From your early descriptions of NXT Tech Wax I got really excited as it sounded like I could get a similar look with pure polymer durability (not that #26 isn't durable as it is). So far I have been really pleased with NXT Tech Wax and the look is very close to #7/#26. NXT does trade off some of the wet look for more reflectivity.
This picture is a little better than the last. Just to be fair to NXT I think the major difference between the pictures is the lighting. Also I did not do any surface prep prior to applying NXT as I wanted to test its swirl removal/hiding charactersitics. Once the weather gets a bit warmer here I do plan to do a full detail on the paint. Just picked up a bottle of #82 swirl free polish to use with the PC and then will apply NXT Tech Wax.
I am really torn between my old standby and NXT Tech Wax to the point where I am tempted to top NXT Tech Wax with #26 and see what I get.

It's great to see that NXT is already causing a bit of a stir here. The team at Meguiar's UK are very excited about this new technology and we'll be getting our hands on our first product samples next week.
We hope to have our first stocks toward the end of February and retail prices will be as follows:-
G12664 NXT Wash £12.99
G12718 NXT Tech Wax £14.99
G12824 NXT Spray Wax £7.99
G12924 NXT Tech Protectant £7.99
G13010 NXT All Metal Polysh £6.99
We'd be happy to take advance orders which we will ship just as soon as we have the inventory in the country.
We would be more than happy to provide one to one advice for any callers. We've done this many times already and are happy to do so. We'll also be at car shows throughout 2004 and our team members are more than happy to take a look at any surface care challenge.
Your support and interest is very much appreciated guys and I hope we don't fall short of your expectations too often.
Give us a call on 0870 241 6696 if we can help further.
