As far as the 29th, its looking like a late 80's Mercedes Benz 430SL (I think that's the model #). Light blue, but plenty of cobwebs and quite a few touch-up paint blobs. I am hoping get some instruction on wet sanding and rotary polishing...

I'd be interested in this date but what if anything besides my car do I need to bring. I drive a 2003 nissan 350z but it does have a few swirls and cob web like marks I can't get off for the life of me. I use the nxt tech wax and quik detail spray on my car. I also want to inform you that the car pictured above is clocking in at 83k miles on her but still looks brand new.

I was going to see if I can stop by anyways since I'll be in LA and found this post! Holy Cow! Perfect timing! Looking fwd to seeing Mike and other members again!

Mike, please count me (Paul - Paulvr4) in for March 29th. I just need to wash the rental car and buff it up. I'll be working at the Kids' Choice Awards show for 5 days straight and know that the quality of the rental out of the box will be unexceptable for the clients. With that said I'll just do a quick PC with NXT or whatever I can. If anyone wants to "practice" on the rental that'll be fun too.

If you are wondering what I'll be bringing...just keep guessing. It all depends on what Hertz has for me :rolleyes:

I'd actually like to get the entire car somewhat shiney, so if you want to Rotary 101 your heart out, by all means, but I'd like to also go away with an entirely shiney car versus spots of shine.

At the end a quick coat of NXT and some insane tireshine would be ideal. And to reiterate - all you Audi S4 people can test out your ideas on my "rental" prior to attempting it on your personal cars. This way Hertz can enjoy the outcome just as much as we will enjoy learning on it!

Open Garage will start a little earlier, you can show up at 4:00pm if you like, I'll have the garage doors open.

Also, all cars must be washed before bringing them to Meguiar's as we cannot wash cars in our parking lot due to government regulations which require us to capture our water and we're not set-up to do this.
