How hard do you press? Do you use it like you would use scratchx? (passion behind the pad) and can it be used with a DA? (if so what pad)

First, PlastX is a great product!!
First, your application method should depend on what material you are using it on. The hardness of the plastic will decide which type of application method should be employed.
For example, a gauge cluster usually has a pretty soft plastic cover. This will require the use of a non-aggressive applicator, such as Meguiar's Hi-Tech Applicator (the yellow one).
A headlight, however, will sometimes have a slightly harder plastic, which will require use of a more aggressive applicator. A terry cloth is great for this.
You can also use the DA to help speed things up, but you would need a smaller polishing pad, such as a 4".
ScratchX's application method is very similar to the method needed for PlastX. When using PlastX, multiple applications and applicators may be needed to achieve the results you need, but the time and effort are well worth it.
