This tip may have been posted before but I discovered this the other day.

If you dont' want to hassle with a vaccuum and your mats are not too terribly dirty, you can use a lint roller.. like for using on clothes to get off balled up lint globs. It picks up small dirt particles on your floor and mats and is quick and looks great.

If your mats are exceedingly dirty, this trick may not work too well.

thanks mate. i never thought of this. i keep a lint roller in my safety kit in the boot.
