This is my dad's truck, a 1991 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado with 130,000 miles. It gets washed when it rains and he has me wax it for him every other year or so. This is the first time I got to go at it with the PC and while the truck turned out better that it ever has, it reminded me why I'll never own another black car.

This detail was 100% Meguiars.

1) 00 wash
2) DACP & cutting pad "6"
3) #82 SFP & polishing pad on "6"
4) NXT (YES!! Finally got some!!) finishing pad 4.5-5 x2
5) #40 on the tires, trim and tannau cover


Here is a shot of the hood...1/2 just washed, the other 1/2 wash + DACP

The truck looks good, turned out nice sure dosen't look like it has a 130,000 miles on it.

Never own another black vehicle? I said that I would never buy one I have always had light colored vehcles but I now own a black one, never say never!

LOL, he asked me what I did with HIS truck and who owned the one I left in his driveway.

MAYBE if I started over with a NEW black car...nah... ;)
