HI EVERYONE, I'M NEW IN THIS BUT I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A 2004 BOXSTER 6 MONTHS AGO, I HAVE ALREADY WAXED IT, AND IT IS ALMOST NEW, AND I WANT TO KEEP IT IN THAT WAY, MY QUESTION IS IF I SHOULD USE THE DEEP CRISTAL PAINT CLEANER EVEN IF THE CAR IS NEW BEFORE POLISH AND WAX, OR SHOULD I JUST WAX IT?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCED.

I don't see any problem in doing that .Any paint will benefit form a good cleaning. In my experience my wax has lasted longer on a properly prepped surface. You could also try claying your paint its really easy and the results are awsome.

Hi ercoreca,
Welcome to Meguiar's Online! :welcome
Meguiar's recommends evaluating your car's finish to best determine what products it needs to produce the best potential finish.
Generally speaking, using a mild paint cleaner like the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner is a good idea before applying your choice of wax. The paint cleaner will insure you're starting out with a fresh, clean base to apply your wax to. This will insure maximum performance out of your wax.
It's also a good idea to inspect the surface for bonded contaminants and clay your car's finish if needed. I clay every car that that I detail because experience has shown me the clay bar will remove contaminates that I cannot feel. This is one of the reasons I like using a new white clay bar like the one included in Meguiar's Quik Clay System. If there is anything on the surface, a white clay bar will remove it, and reveal it.
Welcome again...
