I've used Meguiars product for years and think they 're great!

Now I'm attempting to color sand - Can someone tell me what Meguiars products I should use (sandpaper, compounds, polishes, waxes) to get the job done right. Thanks! Kevin

If you start sanding with 1000 to 1500 grit papers use diamond cut with a wool pad, then step down with M83 and a yellow foam pad. as an optional step polish with M80 and a PC with a yellow or finishing foam pad, and top it with M21 or M26 or any wax you like.

if you use 2000 to 3000 grit papers, do the same, except that you'll start compounding with M84 compound power cleaner and and W7000 foam cutting pad.

And a tip: be sure to mask off the surfaces to prevent mold or trim burning, and clean your compound residue thoroughly with MFT's

hope this helps :)
