#20 or #26 which would you buy?

believe that #20 is more of a sealant.

#26 is more of wax better for metallic like paints.

i tried 26 once didn't see to much of a difference. will try again.

haven't tried 20 yet but no complaints from what i've read on here.

Two different animals, 20 is a sealant with some cleaning ability, 21 is blend of waxes that has no cleaning ability and is a pure LSP. The one thing they do have in common is they are both very easy to use. I like them both but they are different.

I believe 20 is the blend with cleaning ability, and #21 is purely synthetic.

M20 is a polymer sealant that contains chemical cleaners, diminishing abrasives synthetic protection ingredients as well as some natural ingredients like Carnauba, it offers very light cleaning ability. It's not really intended to be a one-step cleaner/wax like ColorX or #6 Cleaner/Wax.

IMHO you should use #20 and #26 together. Put #20 on first (two coats) and top it with #26. Looks great and lasts a long time!

Have used this combo in the past and it is a great combo as long as the paint's in pretty good shape to start with. Both products are very good waxes in their own right.

Oersonally, I have never used #20. I have used #26. Therefore my vote has to go with the product I have used. Simple. lol

I like #26 on dark cars.But its I like #20 because its great on light colors and lasts longer.I like the way 26 smells.:D

I love #20! Great in cold weather. lasts a long time too. Then top with it with a carnauba.

If I had to use just ONE last step product for the rest of time...
I'd go with M20 Polymer Sealant because:

• It leaves great gloss & clarity
• Low-impact paint-cleaners work well, but won't mar a finely polished finish.
• Wipe-off is incredibly easy
• Durability is rock-solid
• The best product to use for larger vehicles, such as boats, RV's, & trailers
• Price is not 'out of this world' expensive'
• Availability is very good.

M16 Paste Wax is great, too, but nowhere as versatile as M20.

If I could only buy one, I would buy niether and buy NXT (as the best single wax).

Personally, I think the best approach is a sealant (for longest protection) plus #26 (deepest look), and my sealant choice would be #21 (instead of #20).

So, I would say Nxt (a single step) , or #21+#26 (2 steps but best overall).

None of the options is bad, they are all good:coolgleam, just I would chose a different "best" :xyxthumbs

Ive used #26 before and it is definitely a great carnuba. Cost efficient and it works great.

I find #20 to be more shiny and #26 (paste) to be "darker" and glossier, so it would depend on the look I was going for.

I agree, used 20 lst week and got a really 'shiny' look, however some months before I used the 26 and the look was a lot warmer in regards to depth and gloss.

Next time I'm topping 20 with 26.

I prefer #26 but I've been using #20 as a sealant(what it is) on all the cars that I detail before the long New England winter. It holds up better but I do still prefer the deeper shine that I get from #26.
