This porshe needed the works. It had been "taken care of" incorrectly. It was covered in swirls and "spider webs" scratches with globs of wax crammed in al the nooks and crannies.

After testing a few products, I found out that the orig. paint is pretty soft. I choose DACP with a yellow foam pad on a rotory to remove the defects. I followed the DACP with #9 and a tan pad on the rotory.

The whole thing was topped with NXT. The job took two of us 3 hours.

Words can't explain how much I love doing what I do for a living.

Nice work. The owner needs to drive the Porsche more, the rotors are rusty.

Glad to make you laugh!

My middle name should be "sarcasm"

I love a good sarcastic humor!

Off topic,

I remember my wife going a little mad on me, because I was putting off a task she wanted done around the house, she yelled..

"You're such a procrastinator"....I said..Yeah..well I don't want to talk about it right now....hahahahaha

The end result was I made her laugh!

Sorry to "jack" the thread..just like to share some humor!

Another good one that is 2 times you have made me laugh this morning. That is what we need sometimes is a little humor. People get too serious about things.

Have a great weekend.

Amazing work. :xyxthumbs

I havent ever really figured out what causes those specs in the paint where the sun is reflecting off the paint. I am going to say they are minor rock chips that havent gone all the way through the paint. Is that right? Could some be wetsanded out?

Awesome work again! :coolgleam

Yep, a bizillion rock chips. It was actually kind of sand blasted from being in the desert most of its life.

Thanks for the info. Is this from car wash or wheel cleaner?

Water gets 'me rusty but I think the use of wheel brightener accelerates the rusting process though.
