I'm building a Telecaster and have painted it with nitrocellulose lacquer. It has cured for a month and am in the process of wetsanding it. I plan on going to 2000 grit and would like to know the recommended Maquiar's product I can use by hand before polishing it with Scratch-X followed by NTX. Some of the guys who have done this before use 3M Finesse-It II.

Input?

Hi holderp,

You have asked a similar question to one asked earlier this morning in this thread...

So in the process of putting together a how to article for the above thread it will also work for you. However we're setting up for our Thursday Night Open Garage and that means we won't be able to sit behind a computer and type a lot.

So hang tight and know that behind the scenes we're working on it.
