2008 Advanced Class Schedule

Requirements:
You must have first attended our Car Care 101 class and can document this with your forum name on a sign-up thread in our Sign-up Forum (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=110). We will check forum names and e-mail addresses to the sign-up thread forum, precedence will always go to members that have legitimately replied to a Car Care 101 Sign-up thread and attended the Saturday class and there's a record of this here on the forum.

Classes Size Limitations
18 individuals, these classes are not available for entire clubs. Small Classes mean more one-on-one attention.

Electronic Lottery
Due to the overwhelming demand for our Advanced classes, the only fair way we've come up with to determine who can attend is by an electronic lottery.

Besides the lottery, you have to have attended one of our Saturday Car Care 101 Clinics and be able to show you've attended by having signed-up via the sign-up thread and then actually attended. Anyone caught cheating by entering more than once will be banned without warning.

The first Advanced Class will cover,

* How to wet-sand paint by hand
* How to use an Air Powered DA Sander
* How to use the Rotary Buffer
* How to use a Dual Action Polisher
* Plus a lot more...

A "Certificate of Completion" (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21354) suitable for display will be presented to all students that attend the entire class.

Would the NXT Classes work that you and Kevin Brown (and other off course) work for the prerequisite.

We'll post the sign-up thread about 6 weeks before the class.

Ed,

You have to wait till the sign-up thread is posted and then "Reply" to the sign-up thread. We only allow about 15 people to go through the Advanced Class and we use an electronic lottery to choose who makes the roster.

The last sign-up list had around 50 people sign-up for the class and 15 names were randomly chosen, this is the only fair way to decide who can attend.

Thanks for understanding.

Will you ever have any classes in New York? I would love to attend if so.

At this time, there are no Roadshow classes planned, either our Car Care 101 or our Advanced Car Care 201 class.

If and when there are to be any Roadshow classes, they will be posted to the forum and announced in the Newsletter.

So if you want to make sure you know what's going on as far as classes go, and you're not a member of the newsletter, then you might want to sign up for it.

Cool. ;)

We find this the best way to reach people with this kind of information. We can't always keep specific topics on the homepage of the forum so the newsletter works great for bringing hot or popular topics to people's attention.

We don't send them but once a month as we know people get a lot of e-mail and don't need any more useless fodder for the recycle bin.

We get e-mails every week from people either wanting information or commenting how they "didn't know something was going on", so that's where the newsletter helps out. Of course a person has to be signed up for it and actually read it when they get it.
