Requirements:
You must have first attended our Car Care 101 class and can document this with your forum name on a sign-up thread in our Sign-up Forum (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=110). We will check forum names and e-mail addresses to the sign-up thread forum, precedence will always go to members that have legitimately replied to a Car Care 101 Sign-up thread and attended the Saturday class and there's a record of this here on the forum.

Classes Size Limitations
12 individuals, these classes are not available for entire clubs. Small Classes mean more one-on-one attention.

Electronic Lottery
Due to the overwhelming demand for our Advanced classes, the only fair way we've come up with to determine who can attend is by an electronic lottery.

Besides the lottery, you have to have attended one of our Saturday Car Care 101 Clinics and be able to show you've attended by having signed-up via the sign-up thread and then actually attended. Anyone caught cheating by entering more than once will be banned without warning.


Meguiar's Advanced Class will cover,

* How to wet-sand paint by hand
* How to use an Air Powered DA Sander
* How to use the Rotary Buffer
* How to use a Dual Action Polisher
* Plus a lot more...


A "Certificate of Completion" (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21354) suitable for display will be presented to all students that attend the entire class.

Attendees - To be chose by electronic lottery on Wednesday, July 23rd
Here are the results from the lottery pick, we will e-mail each person that was selected to let them know they have been selected and we will need each person to confirm in concrete they will attend the class.

The Alternates will also be contacted and if any person on the primary list cancels their place for the class we will select the next person listed from the Alternate List.

Sorry, no budget for filming a video, we wouldn't just shoot a video on the fly, (no script), and to set it up to shoot a video would make the class too long...

Got your email and sent you a quick one back. Just wanted to also confirm my attendance here.

On a side note, I have a white tundra with some pretty good scratches in the back portion of the bedside from construction related activity. Might make a good candidate for the wetsanding if you dont already have something set up. I know its the dreaded white, but ive neglected it pretty good.

Hehe...Well, hopefully you get it worked on. :) I'd bring my '67 Jaguar up to work on, but unfortunately the gf has decided to come up with me and catch a movie & lunch while I'm in class, and then get me to take her to Disneyland afterward. Good news that my name was picked as the #2 alternate for the August 23 Advanced Class.

Will be sure that the “Surf City Tundra” is all spiffed up on the 22nd so it will look good at Meguiar’s on the 23rd.

I KNOW ... well how about I have a gut feeling ... that there will be at least two and maybe even three of the first twelve on the list that will cancel or no show for the class that day.

Posting my gut feeling is a “heads up” to “tpierce74" to be ready a few days in advance and to “bmrfan” to check his E-mail late on August 22 as he will no doubt be able to attend also.

Not that we are wishing anything BAD to happen to three of the selected twelve ... ... but to insure that three of the twelve do NOT attend ...

There will be a phone, mail and e-mail campaign to all of their Wives, Girl Friends, Mothers, Daughters, Aunts, Nieces and Grandmothers to band together ... and you know they will ... to
create a Family event on August 23 that these twelve must attend ... and to further band together to create the biggest GUILT TRIP these twelve individuals could ever imagine if they
even think of going to Meguiar’s that day.

So, as I said earlier I’m looking forward to attending the Advanced Class on August 23, I’ll be there about 8:15am. Note ... “tpierce74” and “bmrfan” ... I’ll save you both parking spaces.

Just to note, Mike Pennington and Mike Stoops will be the Instructors for this class as I will be at a Father/Son campout on this weekend.

You're guaranteed to have a great time and learn plenty about the craft of sanding and buffing.

The last class had 3 no shows... not good. We have 12 openings and we want 12 live bodies in the class.
