Hi everybody. I have been spending the past week reading all the old posts in this forum. I can only say you guys are great. I had so many questions in my mind which were answered by going through the old posts. You guys are always ready to help with your own experience. :bounce

Keep it up.:xyxthumbs

I would certainly love to get my hands on a rotary or a PC. And will be next on my list. Currently all my stuffs are hand applied. I am glad to say that I am really happy with Meguiar's stuffs. :coolgleam

:welcome popiah

It is great to have membership from around the world. We all have our love for shiny cars in common here in this forum.

If there are any questions you have feel free to post them.

What do you drive and what products do you use on it?

My geography is a little rusty but I think you are probably pretty close to the equator. What is the climate like in your area?

Again welcome to the Meguiar's Forum.

Welcome Popiah! I'm pretty sure you will enjoy your stay here! Yeah jfelbab, it's near the equator, just north of it.. It's right beside Singapore, right? Malaysia's humid too! Anyway, as jfelbab said, I'm also interested in your ride and what Meguiar's products you use.. :)

Dear Popiah,

I hope you don't mind a fellow Malaysian hijack your thread. :D

Well, to answer your question, Malaysia is north of Singapore, average temp of 30°c to 36°c throughout the year and of course, lots of rain.

In Malaysia, we are able to buy almost 90% of Meguiar's Consumer lines product, but a bit hard to get access to Professional Line Products as a consumer.

Products I am using :-

1. Deep Crystal Car Wash/Rich Suds Car Wash
2. Scratch X/Quik Clay Detaling System
3. Show Car Glaze #7
4. Colour X/NXT Generation Tech Wax
5. NXT Generation Spray X
6. Gold Class Bug and Tar Remover
7. 4 x Ultimate Wipe
8. 2 x Ultimate Wash Mitt

Products planning to get soon (After I finish up some Eagle One Products ) :-

1. NXT Generation Car Wash(Not in Malaysia yet).
2. Hot Shine Tyre Spray
3. NXT Generation Tech Protectant
4. NXT Metal Polish
5. PC (Can't find it anywhere, Pro Detailer WON'T SELL)

That's about it. Trust me Meguiar's products are not cheap here, all the above cost me around 200 USD, but, WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY :D :D

I am so glad that I am part of such a helpful and friendly community.

Thank you for everything, you guys are the best !! :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

Hi ZhaoYun. Nice meeting u here. :bounce I see that use quite a number of Meg's products. :D Cool. If you are looking for the professional line, you can try to contact Hypercoat. You can check Shinycar (http://users.boardnation.com/~shinycar/index.php)
for details. And the good thing is that they have PC too. And do try Final Inspection. I love it. I am not sure if they have the latest Meg's pro detailer line though.

Do you get your items in the US? or Msia? Its so costly here in Malaysia compared to US. We pay more than 4 times for a bottle of wax. Sigh. Takes a true enthusiast to really purchase all these stuffs.

Did you know there is now an authorised (so they claim) Meg's detailing center in Kelana Jaya? Its called HarryBright (www.harrybright.com).

The next thing I would really wanna try is the DACP and Swirl Remover 2.0. But that will have to wait until i get myself a rotary or orbital or PC if pocket allows. Hehe.

Glad to have you here. Cheers
