I was curious if you can move photos to different albums?

When I first started my Gallery, I didn't place photos right and got some in albums that don't make sense and would like to put certain photos in labeled albums to make it easier to navigate to look for them. I.E. Explorer photos in Explorer file, Neon pix in Neon album, etc etc.

Okay, I moved the picture to my "Technique" album and that made it disapear in the above post, so Tyler is correct. You can move a photo to a new album but when you do it will no longer show up where you've previously hosted it.

Now I've saved the above photo to my hard drive and now I'll try to re-upload it into Misc Forum Photos so it will show up everywhere I've posted it previous to this thread.

Looks like the forum software added the number 1 to the end of the file name for my photo so it wouldn't cause problems.

Now... off to fix all this mess...

Okay, everything has been fixed.

Here's the deal, you can move a photo out of one album and into a different album but anywhere you've posted the picture while it was in the previous album means the picture will not show up.

One work around would be to save the photo to your desktop and before uploading it change the file name by adding a letter or a number at the end of the file name but before the .jpg and the upload it into the gallery where you want it.

Now you have the photo where you want it and in the other album.

Not a perfect fix but gets the job done.

That's what I do, when you're in your gallery there's an option to create a new album, so I create new albums for every class we hold and all kinds of things, it helps me to find pictures and it provides a dedicated place to keep the photos.

I tried that and did some things wrong as I thought I was naming my "whole" gallery Nappers and had some pix for the Neon and got jumbled up. LOL.

It is very nice that we have unlimited room for pictures:bigups Kudos to MOL Staff :D
