I have a friend with a very rare and beautiful Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 1 of like 80 or less in the USA. Anyways he is looking for sponsers. Ive detailed his car 3 times now and each time I have used Meguiars products on them, as I do all of my Customers cars. Well anyways he wanted me to ask about this.
(Edited: Large pictures removed as they are way too big for most monitors and downloading -Mike)

I think you can ask for an individual sponsorship.. you can email them about it... i am sponsored too down here in the Netherlands.
So if i see your friends car and your dedication.. it shouldn`t be a problem..
her are a few pictures of me with that favorite wanted car wich they very like in the Netherlands

Hi 317indy,
If you would like to be considered for sponsorship, send an e-mail inquiry to this e-mail
Sponsorship@Meguiars.com
Perhaps include a link to this thread you posted. I would recommend that you redo your photos to 700 pixels wide however because the photos you posted are forcing me to horizontal scroll and I have a 19" monitor, this is usually referred to as bad etiquette.
Here are some tools to help you crop out a picture of the car, and then resize it to 700 pixels. Besides forcing everyone to horizontal scroll, anyone using a dial-up modem must wait and wait to download such huge pictures. 700 pixels is about the widest photo you want to insert into a message in anyone's discussion forum.
Here's how I would have done your first picture,
http://archive.meguiarsonline.com/gallery/data/500/1180skyline009.jpg
All I did was crop it out of the big picture at 700 pixels wide and 500 pixels tall. The emphasis is now on the car, not the building. It's a nice looking and all, but the story should be about the car.
I used LviewPro below, (free), to crop your car out of your original photo and then uploaded it into your gallery here,
317indy's Gallery (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/gallery/showgallery.php?ppuser=1180&cat=500&password=)
Here are some tutorials and links to free software to help people work with images for use on our discussion forum.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

Meguiars does sponsor cars. I have been sponsored by Meguiars since 2002. It is an incredible experience. The sponsorship folks are a great bunch of people.
I would suggest putting a porfolio together and mailing it to the email that Mike provided.

What does Meguiar's look for in order to sponsor a car? I would assume that my customized Accord isn't a good enough car to get sponsored.

I have know idea, I don't interact much with the Special Events department, which is who I think is in charge of sponsorship. These people are usually out of the office and on the road working at car shows, so it's best to send an e-mail to the e-mail address I inserted above and ask them your questions.
I think they will mail you some information on requirements, or some type of kit.
That's where you start.

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is a "sponsored car"? Are we talking like race car sponsoring? Where you get money in exchange for exhibiting the Meguiar's logo?

I don't think there is any money involved, for more information, just contact the e-mail link I supplied above.

I'm not interested in being sponsored, I just was curious as to what it was.

I don't work with the people in Special Events, and because they are always traveling, I rarely ever even see them, so we don't talk much. I have know idea what their criteria is. In the past, whenever I have been asked about sponsorship via the forum, e-mail, or PM's, and then inquired about sponsorship, I have been asked to send everyone to the e-mail I listed above.
So... that's what I do.
Sorry I don't have more information, but I just don't see the people in charge or interact with them very much.
