That regular 'How Do I Do This?!' thread

Ah, yes, the inevitable.

How in the world do I get one of those avatars on the left side of the posts? And why, when I use the url link format with the brackets [ ], none of my pictures show up? Same goes for my signature.

Welcome aboard FlairsideLariat. It's always great to see another Ford enthusiast amongst us.

It's pretty easy to add your avatar. First, while you're logged in, go up and click on 'USER CP' at the top right of your screen along the tool bar. Second, click on 'EDIT OPTIONS'. This drops you into your options screen where you can select to receive email notifications about posts and other items like that. In addition to those functions, at the bottom, you'll see the AVATAR. Click on the 'CHANGE AVATAR' button. A 'Thank You for Updating Your Profile' screen will briefly appear and then you'll get into the user area to upload your avatar.

Please note that the size of your avatar must be equal to or less than 100X75 pixels.
