Today i did a 1994 toyota corolla hatchback. The car was in a reasonable state, except the hood. This was scratched, and because the guy owned this car not for a long time, he wanted it to be as sharp looking as possible.

He drove about 60 miles, just to get here, and didn't know what would be done to his car. I remember his face when I started my rotary on his hood. I told him to trust me, because I know how to treat painted surfaces, and his face showed more happiness, with each stroke of the rotary, because he saw the scratches disappear.

A couple of shots of the scratched hood:

And the same hood after:

Well, this guy was extremely happy, with the end result, because he didn't expect that it was possible, to remove scratches.

Here some more pics:

And the end result from different angles:

This was a nice job to do because I noticed that this guy really appreciated the work I put in his car.

Well, that's it for now,
ciao,
Rick

Good job! :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

I'm sure your new friend is real happy to have his car looking better than new again. Amazing what a little knowledge can do with the right tools and a few quality products.

you know economy is not at its best at the moment.
and i wouldn't know where to find so many customers, that i can provide myself with an income like i'm used to now.
i would do it instantly,if i saw a change, because i like to challenge myself, but there has to come food on the table as well.
this situation is good too.i can accept the work i want, and if i don't like a customer,i friendly tell the to find another.
by the way,
if you know people who want their car to be detailed, just send them to me,i'll take proper care of them.
at the other hand...,they will have to come over to Rotterdam, because i only operate from my little, but cosy shack.

bye,

Rick
