Hey there bought a PC now need the products and a Power Converter

Hey everyone, im from Scotland and have recently put in an order for a PC.

I have swirling on the car and was looking what kind of polish i need to use to remove it. I only have access to these, as some arent sold in the UK.

I thought #80 then #9 then DC-2 then NXT and topped with DC-3.

What do u think of that.

I would suggest not doing DC-3 instead, do 2 coats of NXT as your LSP. Other that that, you have a really great plan! :) If you can't remove the swirls with your #80, then maybe it would be a good idea to try #83 DACP.

I would opt for the Speed Glaze for your first step product, you can follow this with the #9 Swirl Remove 2.0 and then go to wax. You can if you like apply the Deep Crystal Polish, and if you have a dark colored or black car you may want to, but the #9 Swirl Remover 2.0 is very rich in Meguiar's polishing oils and this will enable you to skip the pure polish step if you like.

As for running the polisher you will need a converter. You can try this link,

My first post on Meguiars online !

I have just bought myself a PC from the good old US of A


I got myself the following kit to power mine with, from Screwfix here in the UK:

73851 750VA Portable Power Tool Transform 34.99

16691 110V 14 Metre Lead 16 A 9.95

19947 110V Accessories Plug 1.20

All in about £46 UK.

They are moving premises at the moment so you might not be able to order while Sunday for Tuesday delivery.


The Extension lead solves your problems, as it is recommended not to run an extension lead from the mains to the transformer but from the transformer to the power tool.

Wiring is easy, just take the 2 pin US style plug off the PC and wire the 110v plug onto it.
The White wire goes to neutral (normally blue in the UK) and the black wire goes to live (normally Brown in the UK).

I will just goto maplins or a builders yard. As screwfix seem to be back dated.

Well i think ill go with speed glaze, #9 and then polish and NXT then try without the DC-2 and see if i can see any difference, as the car is quite dark.

I have the speeds and pad recomendations, but i have sonus pads unfortunately, although i do have the velcro backing plate, so ill buy some meg's.
