Painit cleaning

My white TA has some very small specs of dirt on it that won't come off with regular washing but come off if I use my fingernail on them. They are kind of stuck to the paint...what do you suggest I use to get these particles off my car? Thanks!

Use the quik clay detailing system G-1116. You get a clay bar and the quick detailer spray in one box. This system is great for removing what is probably tree sap on your paint. I had the same problem on my Tundra from parking under a ash tree. I could remove it with my fingernail...which was a great deal of work. I tried the quik clay detailing stysem and it is very easy to use. I am very impressed with this product.

I second this. The Quick Clay is a great product. Clay bars are meant to remove above surface contaminents like the ones your describing. Anything that makes your surface rough should be removed with clay. If I were you, I would clay the car, use a paint cleaner (if any coloration remains) and follow that with a good coat of wax.

I second your second. Is your fingernail scratching the surface? Be careful with this as you might be making more work than good by removing these wih your fingernail IMO.

This is a very similiar question. I apologize if Im jumping in on this.

I feel some grit after washing my vehicle really good. It's a 2001 Grey/Silverish Jeep Cherokee. My paint has only half a dozen noticable small scratches, but it does have some odd small circular spots on hood that wont come off. I think maybe it's oxidation or something resulting from the salty roads here in Upper Michigan.

My vehicle also has some varying colors. It's light grey and dark grey and it doesn't really have a good solid clean color after washing. Wax works pretty well but my question is; should I keep this Pro Overspray Claybar and Final Inspection stuff I just bought or should I buy up some Color X instead? I seen some results from the Color X and I love it. Someone suggested a Dual Action Cleaner but I am not too sure what will work best. Thanks alot guys.

Tried to take pictures of the hood problem but they didn't turn out too good. I did however find what looks very similiar to the couple spots on my hood on this bmw in the makeover forums.
