Does the Meguiars Cordless Orbital Buffer use the same 6.5" pads as the Dual Action Polisher? I was thinking of picking up the cordless to have around, but want to make sure I can use the same pads. Has anyone here used the cordless buffer?

I believe it does use the same pads, but I'm not exactly sure.

Yes it does.

I tend to like the W-8006, or the W-9006 pads on this tool.

The cordless buffer is good for applying a coat of polish or wax on a finish in new or excellentn condition. It is not powerful enough to remove swirls and scratches. It's best used after you have already performed your prep-work with the plug in model.
