If you plan on attending the detailing class for the SoCal New Beetle Club (http://www.socalnbc.org) on October 30th 2004, please reply to this thread and I will add your name to the list. Classes are limited to the first 30 people/cars that sign-up. After 30 people/cars have signed-up, a stand-by list will be started. This is due to limited space in the classroom.

You are free to leave whenever you like. The classroom portion goes until typically 11:00am, and then we move to Meguiar's Garage for the hands-on portion of the class. Most classes end around the 3:00pm mark.

Hi Mike,

Please add me as the 12th SoCal NBC signee for the October 30th Detail Day. I have a 2000 NB; but I don't have a garage, carport or shade to park it under at home or at work, so it is showing 4 years of continous sun and UV bombardment. The results are that now I have a 2-Tone paint job that I never paid for! This might be useful info for the Detail Day if you have any "two-tone" products to demonstrate on my car.

BTW, how do I add a little picture to the left of my posting above where it says New Member, and how do I change it (new member) to my car's name? Thanks.

To add an avatar below your name, you want to go into your Control Panel,

Accessing your User Control Panel

Once you have become a registered users, you can modify your account in a number of different ways including adding an Avatar, (the small picture that appears under your name), to make any changes to your account, all you have to do is to click on the User CP button at the top of most Meguiar's Online web pages.

Then click on Edit Options and scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see the option to add an avatar. Avatar images are limited to 120 by 120 pixels.

Thanks for the infomation on Accessing your User Control Panel. Now that I found out what an AVATAR really is, I was able to insert the picture of Da X Bug that I wanted and also add a signature statement. Nice to learn something new from Meguiar's even BEFORE attending next Saturday's Detail Day.
