This is a minor complaint: I generally like the product, but I simply cannot stand the shape of the NXT bottle. I realize there are various reasons for the packaging, that's fine (marketing, etc), but a bottle like the pro products (#7, #20, etc) would be far better in my opinion.
Thanks - Scott

Wow Scott, I feel the same way exactly!! I don't like the shape and especially don't like the juvinille look of the label -- a souped up ricer car with a soup can exhaust. I really wish NXT came in a classier more elegant bottle like the Gold Class wax. It's probably a little late to tell Meguiars that now..... oh well. Maybe we can buy some NXT and put in into an old GC bottle or something!!

I don't care what the bottle looks like just as long as the stuff inside is good.

the colours and shape do grab attention and most people out there are all about flashy and cool looking things.^^but like you said its whats on the inside that counts.

I agree with the "whats inside is what counts" comments. As I said, the complaint is very minor comment but it's the very first thought I had when I started using the stuff; I keep feeling like I'm point it the wrong way or something.
The bottle issue wouldn't stop me from buying or using the product at all, and while I realize it gives the box room for the applicator and is (I guess?) the same bottle for the spray-product the fact remains the bottle is just annoying :)

Maybe the bottle is shaped that way to grip it better. You know...Ergonomics... :D

I haven't tried it yet and the shape of the bottle will in no way stop me from doing so but......Count me with the crowd who thinks the shape is just out there?

I guess the crazy shape and colors have done there job -- we are using and taking about the wax. Clever Mr. Meguiar.;)

Might try some of meguiars 12oz despenser bottles? I use them at work and just might pick a few up for home. The product is much eaiser to control.

I don't know about that - long story but I mail-ordered mine, didn't know what it looked like until I opened the big brown box :)

i do agree the bottle is kinda annoying someone had mentioned that it didnt look as elegante as the gold class bottle and thats so true i put them beside each other and the nxt bottle looks cheap compared to the gold class.one of the reasons i started useing megs was when i would walk in the car care isle and saw all the flashy gimmiky products and then saw the megs abnd thought there is a company that put there money into the actual product not just flashy bottles and ketchy advertiseing

I just ordered 3 of their 12oz dispenser bottles with an order last week. Maybe I should have ordered more though.
I am going to use them for the BSP line...Especially since DACP is so thick, and comes in 32oz bottles!
Mike Phillips said he had a bottle of DACP to bust open on him one time when he squeezed it too hard.
I guess a plain old mustard & ketchup bottle combo would work...The kind you can get at the dollar stores.

Mopar is right, the gold class bottle looks SO much better and looks more like a wax you'd pay $15 dollars for. I wonder if they are going to improve that formula since it says it's the best and now NXT is supposedly better. Anyway, the goofy-looking sport-tuner riced-out car on the labels bother me too. A mustard bottle would look more appealing to me than that.

just for the record, the car featured in NXT products is a 3rd gen Rx7. Not a rice-burner by any standards, but a state-of-the-art true sports car. I haven't tried NXT but I will soon, and if it's like they say it is, it's just like the car on the label. Long live the Rotary and Meguiar's for keeping mine so shiny.

Sorry if I offended you! I like the RX-8, they are really nice looking cars. I just don't like when people rice out any car. Besides, I'm sure yours doesn't have the freaky paint job the NXT one does. Right?

ha ha, not offended!! i totally understand your point. I agree with you on the funky paint color scheme, and i think Megs is trying to appeal to the younger generation, most of which is easly impressed by the fancy packaging instead of recognizing and understanding reputation. maybe if they could get them to try Megs products, it would create a new generation of followers. does it makes sense?? i lost myself in the middle of all the typing.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's funny cause I am young (21) and I don't like the design. Maybe it because it has the Barney the Dinosaur color scheme! Oh well. I always talk up Meg's with my friends, so hopefully some of them will buy the stuff. One thing is for sure -- it is really wise of Meguiar's to have this forum for suggestions. Obviously this is a company that listens to consumers!

one observation is that every time I go to a parts store to look for Megs is that the bottles are very hard to spot. All the colors and flashy designs from the other products makes it hard to easily identify Megs from the distance, as well when it's right in front of you. The first time I looked at NXT, the colors and the logo caught my eye as I was passing by. I admit that my first impression was some confusion, since I believe that Megs is all about quality, not flashiness. I grabbed a bottle last night from walmart. I'll post my results.

Yea I agree the label on the NXT needs a lot better looking car on it.
