Looks like a nice tool, specs read good. I've never used one of these tools so I can't really comment any further.
I really like my old trusty, dusty Makita... and I use the new versions in Meguiar's Garage all the time. Never had any problems with them. I also have a Black & Decker variable speed and have never had any problems with it and we also have the DeWalt rotaries here at work and the also seem to work great and be trouble-free.
I would think any reputable brand name rotary will give you trouble free service.

Hey,
I think you will like the Bosch. I have many of their tools and they are all quality products!
I myself have 2 Makita and 1 Dewalt rotary buffers. But, as long as the Bosch has a variable speed and more than 8 amps of power, you should be fine! :xyxthumbs
My only question is, what size is the spindle and the thread count?

Well, i've recived the Bosch Rotary. Yesterday I practiced in a old hood. The paint was a really disaster, so i wetsanded it, and then buffed it. The problem was that i doesn't have a compound (like #84 or #85), and the #83 wasn't able to remove all the sanding marks. A friend have the pics of yesterday, so i'll be posting this late today.
The spindle and the thread count didn't match with the one in the backplate that i've ordered, so i have to make a adaptor.
Greetings, Lochi
PS: Sorry for my bad english
