Classes Size Limitations: 30 People - This is due to limited space in the classroom. If this class is not full by the Monday prior to the event non-club members will be allowed to sign up and attend.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are only allowed to sign-up for yourself and immediate family members that are living in your home. Friends, family and other club members will need to sign-up for themselves.

You are encouraged to check your e-mail and the sign-up list the evening and/or morning prior to the event for any notifications or cancellations. We have only canceled one class in our history and it was due to an emergency.

Due to overwhelming requests, if the class does not reach the 30 people limit by Monday prior to the event, the class will be opened up for non-club members to attend.

This class is very popular and actually filled to the limit. The last week I'll be sending out a reminder e-mail and often time a few people cancel out because something come us, (Life happens).
You can watch the sign-up list for cancellations the last week, but even with a few cancellations its going to be a full class.

I was told that you now offer a product to dull the finish of 1 or 2 stage paint. I am restoring a '66 Vette and need to dull the inside door surfaces. I have 1 stage white paint. If this product exists can I purchase it on line?

Hi Jake,

I'm not sure what you mean? You have paint that is glossy and you want to dull it down to make more matte in appearance?

As far as I know, Meguiar's doesn't offer a product that is formulated to dull paint with the goal being to dull the paint. We offer a series of finishing papers that if used to wet-sand the finish, they will leave the finish looking dull as in sanded dull, but most people follow the wet-sanding process with a compound to restore gloss.

My '66 Vette originally had laquer paint. The inside of the doors and door jams originally had no luster. To duplicate that look with a non-laquer, modern one or two stage paint requires that one somehow dulls the finish upon repainting. One of my NCRS colleages used steel wool and then rubbing copound to accomplish this. He also said that you had a new product that would do the same and that it would be demonstrated at the NCRS detail day in May. I was hoping to acquire this product as I am preparing for a regional meet next month. Do you know of such a product?

The list is always on the first page of the "Thread", the thing you have replied to is called a thread, your reply and my reply to you is on page 7. To get to page 1, where the sign-up list is to see if it's full or not, you simply click on the little number 1 at the bottom or top of each page on the left hand side, like the picture below shows...

As it is today, there are 35 people signed-up and one on the waiting list. I will add your name to the waiting list and the Monday before the class I will send out a Reminder E-mail to remind everyone who has signed-up that the class is the upcoming Saturday.

Usually, when we have a class this large, 4-5 people cancel out because life happens and for perfectly valid reasons something comes up and they cannot attend. This opens up a space for the people on the standby list.

So please watch your e-mail and your SPAM folder as sometimes perfectly good e-mail ends up in this folder for the Reminder E-mail and also check back to the first page of this thread to see the status of the sign-up list.

So far there have been three cancellations for this weekends class including Jim and his 1958 Fuel Injected Corvette,

There will be plenty of other stellar representations of the Corvette Marque at Meguiar's this Saturday and we're looking forward to helping the owners to learn how to take their Corvette's appearance to their maximum potential with Meguiar's Car Care Products!
