From the first page of this thread,

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are only allowed to sign-up for yourself and immediate family members that are living in your home. Friends, family and other club members will need to sign-up for themselves.

The classes are free, this includes donuts and coffee, a very nice Pizza lunch with cold drinks, Goodie bags with real full size samples of product to use, and of course, Classroom Education and Hands-On Training.

All we ask is that each person that wants to attend the class to Register with the forum, and Reply to the sign-up thread.

One of the reasons for this is because this forum is a valuable tool and resource for information on detailing all aspects of a car. During the classroom, everything we cover can be found on this forum. Most people cannot remember everything we're going to teach them and show them, thus the value of becoming familiar with the forum as once a person has learned the basics of how to navigate and reply to t thread, or post their own questions, they can then get all the how-to information they will ever need from the forum.

Here are some examples of things we're going to cover in the classroom that are also available on the forum,

Meguiar's 5-Step Paint Care Cycle (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2409)

Each one, teach one... Ferrari Fiorano 355 F1 Spider (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2877)

How To Remove Swirls By Hand (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7011)

Using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Professional Line (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2965)

How to remove a defect by hand with ScratchX (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1516)

How to locate Meguiar’s Professional & Detailer products in your hometown (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1504)

How to tell when a Meguiar's wax is ready to remove - The Swipe Test (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2166)

What it Means to Remove a Scratch (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7228)

Rotary vs. PC vs. Regular Orbital Buffer (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1395)

Circles or Straight Lines? (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6442)

What are the Differences Between Meguiar's Waxes (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3117)

and much, much more...

So it's important to us to have our class attendees to first register with the forum, and they reply to the sign-up thread. By doing these two simple things, they will have jumped over the hurdle of learning how to use a discussion forum, which is by the way the primary method of how people form communities and communicate over the Internet.

For all the things we provide during your visit to Meguiar's for our free detailing classes, we don't think it is to much of a burden to as our class attendees to register (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/register.php?s=) with the forum and then reply to their club's sign-up thread.

Even a casual perusal through all of the other clubs that have attended our free detailing classes will show you we have about a 95% plus compliance with this request.

Clubs that have attended Meguiar's Free Detailing Classes. (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=71)

My promise to you and everyone that attends our classes is to make sure you have both a fun time at Meguiar's as well as an educational time at Meguiar's.

Take a moment to read through what others have to say in this forum...
