I went to browse at the local Autozone store. I spot a jar of #26 on the clearance table. Its marked $.99 !!! , I couldn't pass it up. :db:

I go to check out and low and behold the clerk says everything on the table is 50% off the ticket price. So I get the darn jar for $.50 freegin cents. (The applicator is worth more than that, so what the hey)

I had no idea at the time what to use it own. I have recent details on both our vehicles. One is 3* NXT with 3* #16 topper, the other is 3* UPP. I love both looks.

Anyway I decided to Spring detail my tractor. NXT with #26 on top. So for now my $.50 jar of #26 is delegated to a John Deere LSP.:db:

#26 is a great product I have had some very good results with it. Your mower sure looks good! Is that new or do you keep it looking that good all the time?

This past Saturday we went to KMart for some last minute Easter and trout fishing stuff.

Of course I browsed the auto section. I decided to pick up the Meguair's Quick Clay system because I will be detailing both Mom and Mother-in-Law cars as part of Mothers Day gift in a few weeks. When I open the box at home I see the clay bar is missing :( .

I suspect someone pulled the clay bar from the box.

So my great deal on the #26 of $.50 was eaten up by a $10.00 bottle of Quick Detail. Dag nabbit. It'll cost me more in gas to return it (a 50 mile round trip). Oh well I guess I'm still slightly to the good of the bottom line.

It could have been a packaging mistake at the factory...I'm sure Meguiars will fix you up with a phone call.
