On October 8th, 2005 Meguiar's will proudly host a hands-on detailing class for members of Autopia.org (http://www.autopia.org/) here at Meguiar's Corporate offices in Irvine, CA.

Classes Size Limitations:
30 People - This is due to limited space in the classroom. If this class is not full by the Monday prior to the event non-club members will be allowed to sign up and attend.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You are only allowed to sign-up for yourself and immediate family members that are living in your home. Friends, family and other club members will need to sign-up for themselves.

Due to overwhelming requests, if the class does not reach the 30 people limit by Monday prior to the event, the class will be opened up for non-club members to attend.

Read the requirements in the first post on the first page as to who can attend. I usually monitor new registrations throughout the day except on Saturday's when I'm teaching a class like todays Jensen Healey Detailing Class...

We had a sign-up list with 12 people on the standby list and by the time the class came around about 8 or 9 of the people on the standby list moved up to the primary list as people that signed up for the class had something come up and forced them to cancel.

I will have a booth set up and will be doing a complete polish on either a 56 Chevy or a 40 ford. It hasn't been determined which onebyet but they both need allot of love.

I am disappointed about canceling my attendance to the class as I was really looking forward to it.

Hey Mike

I'm still 4th on the standy list for Saturday. Does it look good at all for getting in Saturday? Looks like there is a lot on Standby.

I see you have a MOL detail class planned for the following Sat., but I have not seen a sign up for that class. Am I not looking in the right place? I would much prefer the autopia detail class though.

I am willing to bring my own seat or sit on the ground, but maybe the fire marshal wouldn't approve. But if there is any openings for this Saturday, I sure would like to attend (just like everyone else on standby.) I would even be willing to be an assistant if your help doesn't show up, hows that?

Well for all the lucky ones who get to go this Saturday, this is a great class with a great instructor and facility.

you can take my name off the list, since I attended the clinic for the MG club a few weeks ago. I was not sure if you'd automatically remove it from the Autopia standby list after the MG clinic or not. It would almost be tempting to attend again & maybe have a better shot at getting a "goodie bag" this time 'round, but am sure you'll have plenty of takers for the clinic. Say hello to my fellow autopians for me...

I dunno... when I finished completing the survey/questionnaire, they were all gone. No big deal. It was not my primary motivation for attending. The tips & techniques I acquired through the clinic were far more valuable. Since it's a FREE clinic, I already got MORE than my money's worth!

Kudos to you & the Meguiar's Team for such an awesome program!

I got exactly what I needed to elevate my detailing to the next level!

Yeah but it's important the you received one as a token of our appreciation for your taking your entire Saturday and spending it with us.

I'm sad to say that sometimes people take advantage of us and take more than one for themselves or pilfer through the other bags taking items out. This happened last Saturday as I was cleaning up I found 4-5 Goodie bags with the Supreme Shine Microfiber towel removed.
