Classes Size Limitations:
30 People - This is due to limited space in the classroom. If this class is not full by the Monday prior to the event non-club members will be allowed to sign up and attend.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You are only allowed to sign-up for yourself and immediate family members that are living in your home. Friends, family and other club members will need to sign-up for themselves.

How-To Register to become a Member of Meguiar's Online


Step 1: Click on the green Register (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/register.php?s=) button at the top of the page.
Step 2: Click the link that corresponds with your birth date:
< On or Before 09-03-1991 - After 09-03-1991 >

How to Post a New Message or Reply to a Thread

Once you have registered, if you want to sign-up for a club event or post new messages or reply to existing messages, you simply click to the message you're interested in and look for the Reply button (See the picture below)

When you click on the Reply Button a new screen will open up with a gray Message Box. You can type our message in here.

After you are happy with your message and have corrected any spelling mistakes, (if any), and add some Smilies, or inserted a picture, you can then click on the Preview Reply button below the message box and look to see what your message will look like, or you can simply click on the Submit Reply button and your message will be added to the thread.

Note: When replying to a thread, you only have to type your message into the message box. There is a smaller gray box on top of the message box where you can type in a Subject for your message, but typically you don't use this feature when replying to to a thread. You do have to type in a subject if you are starting a thread.

That's all there is to it! :) :) :)

The problem with you and others receiving forum e-mails is a by-product of all the spam sent by the nefarious people in the world. Thus legitimate e-mail is sometimes never received.

Part of my job as an Admin on the forum is to monitor all new registrations and manually finish the registration process as I see new people register because of the above problems. I do this all day long. If I'm away from my computer for any length of time at all, 10 minute to 10 hours, the first thing I do is check the Admin panel and process new accounts so that people can begin posting as I know some don't get their confirmation e-mails. In fact, I just checked the Admin panel after returning from lunch and confirmed two new members.

Just to note, last week I had an e-mail similar to yours and I sent an e-mail to the person’s two different e-mail addresses. One got through, the other didn’t, so I don’t know the cause of all these problems but I have learned that e-mail isn’t perfect and it's not always the senders fault. Different ISP's use different filter systems and until a better system is developed we'll probably always have these problems.

We apologize that the system isn't perfect but as we can make improvements we do...

If you're recruiting volunteer cars for demonstrations, I'd love to remove the last vestiges of a couple of "gifts" that our fine feathered friends left on my hood right near the windshield. It's extremely noticeable in the right light, and after reading the recommended link about it, I'm hopeful that my little baby can be restored to her former beauty. :-)

For our demonstration car we usually look for a dark colored car with swirls and above surface bonded contaminants so that we can teach a number of different skills using clay, paint cleaners, cleaner/polishes and pure polishes.

Black cars work best but here's a green metallic finish we used that worked out quite nicley.

and now this one, just to make sure, are you a member of the Prius Club? If so I'll place you on the primary list, if not I place you on the standby list as I need to allow the actual members of the club first stab at attending.

We open the class up to non-members of a club if the class doen't fill up with member, be we do try to give all of the members first shot at attending the class. We also usually allow 35 people to attend as roughly 5 people won't show up out of 30 to 35 people that have signed-up.

The classes are free, this includes donuts and coffee, a very nice Pizza lunch with cold drinks, Goodie bags with real full size samples of product to use, and of course, Classroom Education and Hands-On Training.

All we ask is that each person that wants to attend the class to Register with the forum, and Reply to the sign-up thread.

One of the reasons for this is because this forum is a valuable tool and resource for information on detailing all aspects of a car. During the classroom, everything we cover can be found on this forum. If your schedule allows, we have room for more in this weekends class, and also the other classes I've listed below are not full, simply click on the links and if these dates work for you, then reply to the sign-up thread. Just to note, that last 2-3 classes we've had Prius owners attend our classes because they could not attend this class coming up in November.

While the clubs may change, the education, tips and techniques remain the same.

Thanks for allowing me on the list.....
Unfortunetly i wont be able to make it since i will working with Joe this weekend...(please remove me for the list)
i really did want to brush up on my technique plus my aunt was gonna bring hear prius for me to work on but funny thing she wouldnt allow me to drive it lol...
i wanted to see how you would tape it off and work on it exterior...
i wanted to show her how much an improvement would make on here car since all she has done was wash the vehicle (new car)...
The good thing is it doenst have and DISO or any symptoms on the paint....
Well maybe next weekend when paul come down from NY will this event be held on sunday at your house so we can finally see your Garage...j'k what i meant was at Meguiars hq...if so will we be detail cars that day or no ...what the plan....
