http://archive.meguiarsonline.com/gallery/data/500/2MessageWindowBox.jpg

After you are happy with your message and have corrected any spelling mistakes, (if any), and add some Smilies, or inserted a picture, you can then click on the Preview Reply button below the message box and look to see what your message will look like, or you can simply click on the Submit Reply button and your message will be added to the thread.

Note: When replying to a thread, you only have to type your message into the message box. There is a smaller gray box on top of the message box where you can type in a Subject for your message, but typically you don't use this feature when replying to to a thread. You do have to type in a subject if you are starting a thread.

That's all there is to it! :) :) :)

Hi Jim,

Thank you for making your way to our forum, registering and replying to the sign-up thread.

I understand this can be hard and even frustrating for people that have never participated on a discussion forum, but this is how our classes have evolved since I cam to work here at Meguiar's and brought up the forum and started teaching the classes.

To date, it's been very successful in that after the class, our attendees will have learned a lot and anything they can't remember they will know where to go to find the information or ask a question.

During the classroom portion, I do take a few minutes to walk the class through the most pertinent areas on the forum with information people are looking for to help them polish their cars, like this forum...

How To Articles (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=33)

and this forum...

Hot Topics I (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=80)

We'll be showing you how to do thing like remove swirls by hand or machine as you can see in photo below of the Mercedes-Benz with the gross swirls right out of the body shop...

http://archive.meguiarsonline.com/gallery/data/500/2MB2GrossSwirls1p.jpg

So thank you again for bearing with us, registering with our forum and finding your way to this sign-up thread and then replying to it.

After I hit the Submit Reply button, I'll then edit my post and add your and Jan's names! :D

As long as Dave Herting has her name on paper then she's registered. It doesn't do any good for you to post for me to add her name online when the idea behind our classes is to introduce our attendees to our forum.

Thus the entire reason behind registering and replying to a thread. (Like you've done).

If Ms. Betty Locke wants to register with our forum and reply to this thread then I'll add her name to the online list. Basically we're making an exception for you club because from what I've heard, most of your members are not online, or have absolutely no experience posting to forums.

That's okay, we understand. That said, the vast majority of people that attend our classes are online and familiar with discussion forums and asking them to register and reply is nothing to them.

Just make sure Dave or someone let's me know a final head count before the class so I can order enough product and pizza for the class.

Thanks! :xyxthumbs

Hi Josh,

I just sent Dave Herting, the coordinator an e-mail for a head count for his club as many of them cannot access the Internet or don't know how to interact on a discussion forum.

when I get the head count I'll let you know if there is room.

Check back here in the next day or two...
