Thinking about purchasing the Makita 9227. For those that have it, what additional accessories, if any, did you have to buy to accommodate the Meguiars 6 1/2" pads and backing plates or does Makita sell them? Would appreciate part numbers if you have them. Thanks.

Once you get the rotary buffer, all you need is a small backing plate like this one,

Yep, that's the set up that I use. It is very cost efective for me since I use the same pads for the rotary AND the PC.
