Mike I just read one of your posts over at Autopia....

I asked this morning if #16 PPW is slated to be discontinued...

The answer was that "Yes", this is a product that Meguiar’s is considering dropping from the line.

So if you want some #16 Professional Paste Wax, you should consider purchasing some in the future.

WHAT!!!! You don't know how much this depresses me. Save #16....Save #16...Come on everybody now!!

Reading the thread over at Autopia leads me to believe that I won't be the only one crying into my Cheerios over this one. I understand, as you stated, that #16 is not even close to Meguiar's #1 selling wax but I would hazard to guess that with all the recent discusssion of it on the internet it must, certainly, be gaining in popularity.

It seems to becoming the new "in" wax and rightfully so IMO.

Hopefully Meguiars will see the rising populairty of #16 and decide it is worth it to reformulate it to comply with the VOC regulations without changing it too much. Or course if they decide thst it has to go, while I will be very sad, if the warehouseneeds somewhere to send it's overstock I could defintely find rom in my basement if you wanted to unload it free of charge ;) Seriously though, if you hear anymore on this please let me know SO I can order about 5 cans.

You know, I was going to try #16 sometime soon.

I hope the local stores have some in stock.

Hi Bri9801,

Just to point out, if you read what I wrote carefully, you'll notice I included the word, considering.

Nothing is concrete yet.

Mike,

I did catch that part of your message but the mere mention that it was being considered was enough to send me into a panic.

The above message is also a prime example of what surfing the internet after a few beers gets you.

too funny bri.....
i do hope tho that IF megs has to discontinue it in its present form , that they reformulate it to keep a paste carnauba wax with megs name on it on the shelves.....and to compete against s100 and others......
i just bought some after reading this board, and love it.......the can size is great for holding in your hand...you get a great amount, much more than the silly little s100 plastic can thingy.....and, to me, the durability is better than s100 with the same look to it.......
