I always thought show car glaze was used before waxing. I just saw somewhere where they recommended it after waxing. What is the correct application order??

Show car glaze #7 is a pure polish and you have to seal it with a wax in order to last more time so, I don't know where you saw that but yes you need to use it before waxing.
first: show car glaze #7.
second: wax or sealant
I've used this product for years. I always use it before waxing. I also use it after waxing just before I bring a car to a show. I love the oily-wet look and it has turned a lot of heads at the shows. Of course, it doesn't last long if applied after a wax.

This is what they were referring to. Using the glaze as a car show head turner. I assumed the glaze would remove the wax though.Originally posted by jfelbab

#7 Show Car Glaze is a pure polish and non-abrasive.

"Find something you like and use it often"
If applied on top of wax/sealant, the Show Car Glaze will wear off very quickly.
However, people with show cars, or going to a show will sometimes do this, putting #7 on top of wax/sealant, as some people find it gives a little more pop to the paint.

Can I put #7 on the day before a show that I have to drive 100 miles to get to? If I go over the car with a QD will I lose whatever extra pop #7 gave me?

No, it should be just fine. I would not worry at all. Once you get to the show, apply a coat of Last Touch and you should be good to go!![]()

I've heard of some in this area that don't use anything but #7.
What is the difference between #7 and the Step 2 Crystal Pure Polish?
