Yes you do. Anytime I come out to Cali. I make sure a stop at Meguiar's open garage is scheduled in. I have been to 7 or 8 and had just as much fun last night as I had the first time I went. The diversity of people there guarantees some good conversation and new knowledge. It's great!

We didn't get to the wheels during the day so after Jason re-parked the Batmobile, Ryan, Chris, Mario and GTObsessor got busy removing oxidation and restoring a shine with Hot Rims Mag and Aluminum Polish to the Bat Wheels while Rand applies some more NXT Tech Wax 2.0 using our new G110

After the wheels were polished out Ryan applies Gold Class Endurance High Gloss to complete the look...

While there's a number of tools on the market to make polishing aluminum easy we wanted to show that with Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish you can still get great results the old fashioned way using what you already own... your hands!

          A little perspective...

When time and conditions permit, Nate will even take people for rides! How cool is that for little kids!

          And even adults!

It looks like you guys had a great time in the batcave. I am sure it was a lot of work. The results are fantastic. Great work guys. What a collection of talent that was there.

Re: Batmobile Show Car Makeover - Pictures & Comments

We had a packed house last night, that's for sure. But a house full of celebrities will do that - and the cars weren't too bad either.

Derek Bemiss and Joe Fernandez debate the finer points of rotary buffing. These guys have a ton of experience but don't you usually get better results if the pad is actually touching the paint?

Once again Joe exhibits his usual high level of concentration while working the rotary.

A certain young detailer managed to kill the Batmobile's bat-tery (LOL, I crack myself up) so Ryan offered up his Liberty to jump start it. Of course Jason couldn't help but take advantage of the downtime and inspect the paint.

While Ryan tries to figure out how to jack up Mike Phillips' truck, Mike decides "we don't need no steeking lug wrenches" and just uses his bare hands. That's strength gained from countless demos of ScratchX by hand during our Saturday Clinics.

The Batmobile did several long flameouts for us - how cool is this??

Jason somehow felt the need to, uh, poke fun at the Joker. Yes, he washed his hands later that evening.

Mike Stoops...Bat-ery? Are you serious? Do I have to come back up to knock you in line (again)?

What a fun two days up at Meguiar's, definitely something I will always remember. My main computer is down right now so I can't upload pictures until tonight. If anybody has pictures that they would like to put up but don't have the time, e-mail them to me and I will be more than happy to crop, re-size and upload them tonight.

                    Thanks Mike(s) and Meguiar's!!

HAHA...I can't kick a 8 year old across the garage, but I think I could with a PT owner. JK!

Were going to get ourselves kicked off the forum.

Man, what a blast that was! I'm sore and tired, but it was worth it! Got home just a bit ago. Loooooong plane ride home. All I wanted to do was sleep, but the dang pilot couldn't miss any potholes

As always, Meguiar's hospitality was top notch once again! 2 thumbs up to you guys! Everytime I come out there, I don't want to leave

There was some real talent there over the course of 2 days! I'm honored to of been in their presence.

I'd also like to say that is was a pleasure meeting and working with you Ryan. If anybody needs some help and is close to this guy, he is one of the hardest workers I've seen! Very eager to learn, and doesn't quit! You did an awesome job this week! Pleasure to work with you!.

Thanks again for having me out. And I hope we can do this again sometime soon. Hitting the shower now, and going to bed!

Thanks Nick!! It was a blast working in the garage with you and Mike over the two days and we had some good times. I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge you have with the entire product line and the rotary buffer, I learned a lot by just watching you.

Thanks again and I'm glad to hear that your back safe and comfortable in your house!
