  • Sanding an Old Paint Chip repair

    I just bought a 2006 BMW 325i Graphite Met.

The PO had tried to fix some rock chips and scratch with gobs of touch up paint.

Any suggestions as to the best way to flatten some of these god of paint?

I did some wet sanding with 2000, it helped a little.
    Thanks!

You can wetsand so little because you may remove all the clearcoat. Are you fixing the defect your self, or a professional? Maybe perfect it can't be but sometimes you just have to live with it or get it repainted.
