I wanted to give an update on my Bel Air restoration. This week, was the taillights (you will see there are only three-last one broke in hand).
Before:
Doesn't look too bad on the outside, but . . .
The emblem wasn't too bad, either (of course, everything on the outside's already been polished "a million times" (according to my wife)!
Using a small bottle brush and Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, I was able to make them look like this . . .
There has been much discussion in the discussion boards about how much product it takes in order to wax different parts of the car. This is how much NXT2 I used for each taillight . . .
The final results . . .
