First off, apologies for having this post get by us. Sometimes we get pulled out of the office for a day or two with various projects and playing catch up can be quite a task!

Read through the 5 Step Paint Care Cycle for the full run down on how to correct defects in the paint, whether very minor or fairly severe. Basically you'll need a paint cleaner like SwirlX or Ultimate Compound to correct the issue, but the 5 Step article will lay it all out for you.

that 5 step process is a big help. i was just curious to remove the swirls and holographs from a buffing pad on a black car is it better to use the swirl x or the ultimate compound? and also will doing it by hand really work or do you need one of those buffing wheels? My other question is for the next step (polish) whats the difference between the deep crystal and the mirro glaze swirl remover? is it best to use swirl remover even though i just used swirl x? In terms of the wax is there a big difference between NXT and the carnuba??and if i get the cleaner wax thats an all in one does it replace the need for any of the other steps? any feedback helps, im trying to get my black paint job swirl free and up to show quality so i can start maintaining it
