I don't know the facts about them being safe but I use them on every piece of leather I have in my house. I use them on my exercise bench, computer chair, furniture etc. I have never had a problem with anything I apply the product to. -

Safe, yes.
However, the furniture/clothing leather is not always as coated as automotive leather, and has a chance to change color a little from the product, so be sure to do a test spot, at least on brown/tan things.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR BlueComment
