  • Oh no not again. MT300 Power Cord Issue

Well as some of you know, I had a power cord issue not to long ago on the MT300 as seen in this thread.

All was going good and the DA was working very well . Well what do you know same exact thing happened to it once again while I was polishing out my personal vehicle. The dreaded power cord issue . It is no coincidence that it went out again after 4 cars.

It is frustrating and I hope that Meguiar's seriously looks into this. It is a good tool when it is working.

This is the second time I have had issues with the power cord on my Meguiar's MT300.

Brian Han took care of this once again. The repair was covered under warranty. I sent it last week and received it today.

      Thanks again Brian.

Might be time to look at how the cord section is assembled in these machines. At least Meg's covered it again.

So far so good with mine. As soon as I saw your problems I took mine out of the box and put it in a plastic tool box to hopefully relieve that cord strain. I know we waited for these to come. What is you serial number, I'm in the upper 3 digit category.

Done maybe 6 cars still getting used to the upgrade from the HF.

It's not that much of an issue anymore as I have added a new tool to the arsenal.
