Talk to your accountant....it's a tax issue. For some reason, vendors treat MM vs. SM differently.....not sure exactly why.
I do know that MM is preferred.

I've been detailing cars for over 30 years and have never provided my own water or electricity. Avoid parking lot jobs and you'll never need either

Hey Flash that is awesome you could go so long and be successful without your own water and electricity! I used to have my business the same way you had it and always used customers electricity and water..... as I worked out of my Nissan 350z (don't ask how i did it, i still barely know how I made that happen...) I fit ALL my equipment in my Z including a 12' x 12' canopy i put in the front passenger seat...

NOW a days I can and will provide my own water and electricity because I can.... I was blessed with a special business loan that made this all possible.... I am not saying EVERYONE NEEDS their own water or electricity because they don't....... but I feel now that I have a big van.... with a 275 gallon water tank and a Honda EU3000 generator I can offer EVERYTHING I did before PLUS A LOT MORE if and when needed. I can do all the jobs i did before borrowing peoples water and electricity.....PLUS all of the jobs you may not want to do.... maybe I will want to grow away from the parking lot jobs too but for now I'm very blessed in being able to take on ANY job without a hurdle.... Some people want a mobile detailer for just that reason.... you can pull up provide ALL services / prorduct including water and power and drive off when it's done. Currently I have 2 10' x 15' canopies which will be great to use..... ((((IF I NEED TO))))

I and many others could probably say my mobile detail rig is over kill but I personally love it and think the 'over-kill' can and will be a great first impression and selling point for myself. I will post some pictures of the equipment I have established in the last few months in the next few days here on this thread. Thanks for the input!
