  • Wheel Cleaners

I bought the followings wheel cleaners:
    1. Hot Rims Wheel Tire and Tire Cleaner
    2. Hot Rims Aluminium Wheel Cleaner

Which one should I use on my wheels? Which one is stronger?

Also, not sure if my wheels are aluminium and if they are coated or not. For summer, I use Honda OE wheels and in winter, I use Enkei aftermarket alloy wheels.

Not sure about those Enkei wheels. You will have to ask the manufacturer if they are clear coated or not. OE wheels are clear coated and either of those wheel cleaners is fine. The aluminum wheel cleaner will be the less aggressive wheel cleaner.

Check out the tip of the month video. Should give you some good info.

      Thanks, Michael.

From what I gathered from the video, both products would be fine for my 2 sets of wheels. The Aluminium Wheel Cleaner will be the weaker product and it would be safe to use on both clear-coated and non clear-coated wheels.
