I find D101 to not be a real good tire cleaner. You have wither two options. 10:1 for light cleaning duty and 4:1 for heavy duty cleaning. Try 10:1 first. -

I agree with Guz in that there are other tire cleaners I use first. Try it at 4:1 as recommended, but if you need a serious tire cleaning, hit it with undiluted D101 and you'll be impressed.

I have used D101 on my fairly clean tires...did ok...but yea, I prefer D143 and a foaming sprayer.
