Re: Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

Does this come with an applicator pad? If not, what should we use? Just a foam applicator? I have a HARD time finding those in stores...

I would give M26 High Tech Yellow a try. It deepens black IMO.

I think so. On my black car, GC does deliver more "pop." It's actually very nice.

I think the look is better than NXt, I use it all the time too, but of course the longevity is a bit better with nxt.

Re: Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

Both versions of Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax will come with a foam applicator pad, just as its predecessor did.

Re: Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

This new version rocks! Its incredibly easy to apply and remove, and produces a really deep wet, reflective look on black paint (only color I have tried it on.)

The new GC is a winner in my book. I can't wait to get a tin of it when it finally hits the shelves. I think those of you who loved the old versions, are about to get a huge surprise.

Here's a pic of a VW GTI that Mike S. polished and put a coat of the new GC formula on (notice the great reflections.)

Re: Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

wow, thats a killer shot..
cant really tell from the picture the difference with NXT 2.0, that produces the same thing...

which is why I have to get my hands on GC 2.0

Re: Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

Will Meguiar's be allowed to say if the new Gold Class still has a bit of old fashioned polishing oils in it?

Yes, it definitely does and we still classify it as a polish/wax.

Re: Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

Is there going to be a Gold Class for Clunkers program? I've got a couple tins of Gold Class at the house I'd like to exchange on the new version! Looks fantastic so far!

Re: Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

Yeah, I have three bottles of the current version. I will try to use up as much as I can.

But I have a nasty habit of buying a bunch of new stuff when I still have a ton of old stuff. Heck, even though I have a gallon of M66 I bought a bottle of ColorX last month simply because it had the new label.

I have issues...
