Pictures don't do it justice (I swear!)

I detailed another neighbor of my fathers' this morning. The vehicle was in great shape as the owner uses only Meg's products in mantaining the finish (smart guy). However some red colored overspray landed in the paint, which I offered to clay off.

I had to use the aggresive professional Meg's clay to get at it, which left little scratches, which blossomed into a fult tilt detail. The car was great to begin with, I just made it alittle better.

Washed with NXT
Clayed with aggressive
Then 80 via PC and 8006
1 coat #7
2 coats # 21
1 coat # 26, all by hand
Wheels cleaned with APC then #21
Hyperdressing on the tires and wheelwells
Seats treated with Leather Cleaner and Conditoner, Gold Class
Carpets shampooed using Dirt Devils Carpet Shampoo
Interior cleaned with QuikDetail wipes
Interior dressed with Natural Shine
Top dressed with Hyperdressing, 3:1
Windows cleaned with DetailerLine Window Cleaner

Unfortunatly the pictures do not do this car justice. It is seriously the deepest shine I have achieved on a vehicle, and the metal flake seems to dance under the clearcoat. I couldn't find any swirls at all in the paint under the hot Florida sun.

From the front

Here is a wierd one (perhaps somebody can explain why). This is of the sun reflecting on the hood, but you can't see the sun or anydetails. How do I keep from having the sun saturate the picture like this?

Looks good. Silver is a tough color to get to look great in real life and even harder in photos.

You asked about why the sun saturated that picture and how to avoid it in the future.

I don't know what type of camera you're using, but if it has any adjustment capabilities to it either choose Landscape mode, or close the aperture (f-stop) down to a smaller opening (larger #, like f-11).

If it is completely manual, you can close the f-stop down and slow down the shutter speed. The smaller the f-stop, the more clarity you will get with the right exposure. If you want starbursts, you can get extreme with the f-stop and close it down to as far as possible while maintaining the ability to expose the photo properly.

Play with it a little bit and post up some more pics.
