2006 BMW 325i

Well, here are my first pictures I'm posting so hope this works out. Here's a car I did that turned out to be quite fun. for a 2006 this car's exterior was pretty bad. I'll let the pics do the talking.

[/IMG]

I'm not kidding about this next pic. This was on both sides of the engine bay where water is suppose to drain. Looks like a birds nest.

Here are the After:

- Washed with NXT
- Clayed
- Started out with #83 & 8006 pad
- Second pass with #80 & 8006 pad
- #7 Show car glaze
- Topped with #26
- Wheels cleaned with Wheel brightener 4:1
- Tires cleaned with NXT Tire Cleaner & dressed with All Season from the Detailer line

The birds are living it up in that BMW..

Great work on the car. That color really shines through now. Keep up the great work.

Exactly what I was thinking! How on earth do you do that to such a nice car, and a brand spanking new one at that?!

Thank you guys for the compliments. Yeah Mike, the owner was thrilled. Even though she's never really seen the engine bay but I did give her before & after pics.

The paint on this car was more on the softer side then hard. I did have to give a couple of #83 passes on certain areas such as the hood & trunk for some reason.

Beautiful transformation Well done!

How long did it take you to do the engine bay? What products did you use and what process did you follow? Did you use some sought of jetwash or steam gun?

Thanks

Thanks.
For this engine I used Meguiars Safe D greaser (4:1)
1. Rinsed off the engine with water usiing a pump spray.
2. Sprayed the Safe D Greaser generously all over the engine & let it sit for about 30 seconds before & brushed some areas
3. Rinsed using the pump spray again
4. Let it dry while I worked on the car
5. Sprayed Hyper Dressing let it sit for a while & wiped off excess.
