Mustang GT Before/After

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share the latest work I've done on my girlfriend's Mustang GT. Unfortunately it hasn't been taken care of properly so it needed some TLC.

Re: Mustang GT Before/After

Oh and one quick question.

I scrubbed the convertible top for a good 20 minutes with deep crystal car wash and a soft brush to no avail. What kind of product do you suggest with the top? Even after scrubbing it, the darn thing looked dirty.

Re: Mustang GT Before/After

Looks like you did a great job on that engine bay- Hyper Dressing?

As for the top, Meguiar's Marine line has a cleaner just for canvas, as well as a separate marine line canvas sealant. I haven't used the cleaner yet, but the sealant sure worked great and made the top bead water.

You will likely need to order them online through Meguiar's direct (Found on the homepage of MOL), or from other online vendors. I'm sure a few people will chime in with some great online retailers to get your Meguiar's products cheap!

Re: Mustang GT Before/After

Ahh...I see. I thought you either used a really low dilution ratio of Hyper Dressing- or something else.

Hyper Dressing gives an insane shine at even moderate ratios...that stuff makes engines look unbelievable.

Very nice job on the Mustang! Looks much better.
As for the top, you can use the Marine Line Canvas Cleaner, seen some pictures here with great results

Re: Mustang GT Before/After

Good work on the GT. You could try APC+ (I've had great results with 10 to 1 mix, if it's REALLY dirty, you could go with 4 to 1)

Again, good job!
