Re: Viper owner looking for some help
I use to detail back in college. I used Pro products and followed the techniques I was taught early. The results were great but it has been 10 years since then and I would like to see how the products have changed. I would prefer to do most of the work by hand.

Just some options... If you haven't tried our new Ultimate Compound and SwirlX then these would be the first two products to add to your collection plus plenty of foam applicator pads for applying and working with them. ![]()

Re: Viper owner looking for some help
Wow! A Viper! Congratulations!
![]() I suspect that the single most important thing you can do for your new car is to wash it properly and carefully. The two bucket method is essential: How to Wash Your Car (ShowCar Style!). But if you want to be even more careful, then check out Accumulator's Non-Marring Wash Technique. The key, I think, is to constantly rinse the wash media. You might even consider purchasing a pressure washer and foam lance, so as to minimize touches and the possibility that any form of grit, no matter how small, might get trapped between the paint surface and your mitt or sponge. Enjoy your Viper! Here is my son Bredon next to his Viper: ![]() Yes, that is a PhotoShop pic. Anyone remember the TV show? ![]() Cheers, Al

Re: Viper owner looking for some help
Looks like it. You can tell from the Mescherschmitt-styled square framed canopy. The vipers from the new series have a plexi-glass bubble canopy, although I think they did have a retro Viper in one of the episodes...
And I have just exposed myself as a sci-fi geek ![]() |
