It's not that bad of an idea. At the Thursday night open garages, you may get to polish your hood or another panel, but rarely does anyone get to polish their entire car because of time constraints.
There are a lot of people who learn how to polish their cars via Meguiars TNOG's or the Saturday training classes in Irvine, online videos, or Mike Phillips' DVD, but they don't necessarily want to detail beyond their own car. Renting out your DA for $15 is a fair priced alternative for the DIYer who only wants to polish his or her car once and be done with it. Good luck  |
