Newbie needs lots of help

Are you working the product in? Basicly, you need to work it in for awhile (but dont let the product dry), wipe the substance off, then repeat until you get the desired results.

If you are working it in, perhaps you will need an applicator with more "bite", such as a microfiber cloth applicator. Meguiar's Even-Coat applicator is well suited for this kind of application.

oooh yah. I am working it in. My arm gets sore and tired after doing the rear. I wipe it off and do another application. Sometimes 3. I dunno, getting tired or cleaning it up. I'll probably wait til spring to fully get into it.

You may be trying to work too large an area. Try it in a patch 6”x6” or so. If you don’t make better progress it’s telling you that the paint is too hard or the defects are too deep. Either way that means that it will take a power tool to do the job.

2. Clay with Quick Clay
3. DC-PC Step 1
4 DC-SP Step 2
5. Scratch X
6. ColorX
7. Finish it off with NXT wax

Every wash, quick detail and quick wax..
every 4-6 weeks I'm going to
1. Wash
2.Clay
3.Nxt

and every 6 months do the first list

I think you are a little off in your product order... Just to fix it up, (In my opinion of course):

Every 6 months:
1. Wash
2. Clay as needed
3. ScratchX areas needed
4. You can go over the whole car with DC#1 then, to make sure everywhwere is cleaned.
4. Polish DC#2
5. 2 Thin coats of Nxt.

Every 4-6 weeks:

1. Wash
2. ColorX
3. Coat of Nxt

Update- My parents didn't order all in time for me to get it by Christmas so I was forced to go to O' Reilys and buy whatever I could find.
