I was just wondering what the difference is between colorx and dc paint cleaner. What would be better to use during the 5step deatail. Also do you apply dc like wax and wipe off immediatly??

ColorX is a cleaner/wax, that is it's an all in one type product, it cleans, polishes and leaves behind some wax protection.
Paint cleaners only clean and polish, they don't leave behind protection. Different paint cleaners offer different amounts of cleaning ability, some are mild some are quite strong.
Read this and soak in the information and you'll know more than most detailers and more than most the people hanging out on detailing discussion forums...
